Based in 世田谷区 Setagaya, Tokyo the APPLEBUM crew has been a SWRV favorite since we connected with them in 2008. One trip to their workspace and we were down, they had a cassette tape and Rap Pages collections that would flip wigs.

Their S/S 2010 line has been opening eyes and getting some online burn via sites like Hypebeast, but one look at their entire lookbook left me in awe. I don’t think you understand.
Their music-inspired designs takes keys from Roy Ayers, Ice Cube, Dead Prez, Erick B & Rakim, Nas & Jay-Z - and all this for just one season? G o o d n e s s.
I don’t even know many Amercian brands going this hard for culture right now.

March 20th marked the o f f i c i a l first day of Spring.
In honor of the new season blasting off, SWRV connected a group of creative visual artists and creatives to shoot a collaborative lookbook with accessories artist Jennifer Villaruz of Foreign Unity (L.A./NYC).
The shoot was an a m a z i n g episode of fearlessness, as we braved rooftops + hot blocks to get these shots to take flight.

These are a amazing pair of sunglasses made in the 80’s by the Swatch Watch company in a collaboration with Alpina Eyewear, a brand known for designing high-quality outdoor eyewear.
The glasses were popularized throughout the 1980’s by Pro Wrestler Macho Man/Randy Savage.
They also can be seen sported more recently on Taz Arnold in Paris for Fashion Week.
These are a very unique timeless pair of sunglasses that will surely set you a side from everyone else. When you have had enough of the Louis Vuitton Millionaires or even the marvelous Louis Vuitton Bindis, the Swatch Shields are a great alternate choice.
